The Somerset Chapel

The Somerset Chapel is located at the top of the hill in Church Street, in the heart of Lowood... a relatively short drive from Ipswich.

It was acquired from the Uniting Church in 2014. It gives Somerset Funerals clients the benefit of an additional centrally located facility in Lowood to compliment our traditional facility in Fernvale.

The Somerset Chapel has been extensively renovated, but with close attention given to retaining its traditional appearance.

The Chapel may be attractive for people who:

Live in and around the Lowood community, or

Like the charm of a traditional country chapel regardless of where they live, or

Like the concept of a chapel, but without being aligned to one particular faith, and

Appreciate the adjacent catering hall facilities to share time with friends and family with morning or afternoon tea.

The Somerset Chapel is also available to our whole community for any respectful purpose including weddings, christenings, and memorial services.
